About Cheyenne- I completed my PhD in counseling at the University of North Texas, and MS in counseling psychology, and BA in speech communications at Baylor University. I hold counseling licenses in both North Carolina and Texas. For the past 20 years, I have served clients in multiple settings including agencies, private practice, hospice, a military installation, and residential treatment centers. I possess extensive experience working with adults and couples. Committed to my own professional development, I am currently completing a 200 hour training program to become certified as a sex therapist, a specialization that I believe will benefit my individuals and couples greatly. Every client I have worked with has taught me more about the process of healing and connecting to others. In addition to my clinical work, I am a university faculty member. The combination of roles suits me well, as my students motivate me to be a model of life-long learning, and my clients humble and inspire me. When I'm not seeing clients or teaching, I am often spending time with my 4 legged team- Jett (black lab), Bentley (setter mix), and Maven & Lexi (kitties), and my human loves- my life partner, his kids, and the multiple teens who have adopted us as their second home. 

Cheyenne sees adults 18+, couples, and offers telehealth services for residents of North Carolina and Texas.
